Best Western Terminus Hotel

We chose it because it was conveniently located next to the train station. Maybe some would feel it is a bit far to walk to the city centre, but it is only two metro stops, and both the metro and trams are very close to the hotel. Nice room, including size. Good service that I could have a snackpack when having to leave early before breakfast time on the day of departure (catching a train at 7).

All in all, very good hotel stay - convenient location across the main street from the bus station and also right opposite the trams. Room was spacious, comfortable and airy. I was grateful to get my room available at 7.30 AM (after my overnight bus arrived from Bucharest) instead of the standard check in time of 2 PM. I did have to pay an extra 20 Euros for it however which seems a little unnecessary and steep since the room was clean and available but I guess it was a very early check in? IDK but I was was ultimately very grateful for the sleep I got that morning - so its all good..

1st time visiting Sofia and my stay here has been made very comfortable and easy to know of places of visit. Transportation wise is super convenient too. Service from the Hotel Manager to the Front Office with Housekeeping is fantastic. In fact on my outward trip back home, I have booked again to stay here. TQ Mr Plemen. I requested a take out breakfast due to me leaving for Skopje at 7am (breakfast starts from 7 am) They have done so nicely and even pack me fresh fruit to go with it. Now, this is what I call Outstanding Customer Service! I definitely highly recommend visitors to book your stay here. I am sure, you will not regret.

Easy to reach location (also from the airport) and close to all kinds of public transport for travelling into the city, which works very efficiently. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at the reception - both in arranging a taxi as in help with my stay (I had made a mistake with my dates). Room was spacious and clean (good water pressure), and the bed was made daily. Breakfast had plenty of choice for a good and healthy start of the day (you're not spoilt for choice, but it's a good selection still). AC was available in the room, and with windows closed it was very quiet despite it being located at the front side of the building (opposite a tram stop).

The hotel was recently renovated and across the street from the central railway station. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect with. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The included breakfast was delicious with a large selection of food.
